Well ... I bit the bullet today. Hope it fits.

I managed to sell some stuff and build up some USD in my PayPal account.

I bit the bullet on a Lazer Monaco Pure Carbon and a set of Oxford Heaterz Touring Grips today.

I shipped to the border, so I'll have to go there, try it it on, and hope it fits so I can bring it back. :)

So, responding in the correct thread. LOL!

I measured my noggin per their instructions at RevZilla. I measured 58cm around at the thickest point which would have put me into a Medium (I wear from L to XL depending on the manufacturer)

According to the sizing chart on RevZilla, a 58cm noggin would garner me a MEDIUM. WTF?

I wend to a LARGE which fits 59-60cm according to the chart. Hope it fits? In the reviews, they say that the helmet sizing was bang on??

Will do. I'm hoping it reaches the border this weekend so I can go pick it up right away.

Well, I just spent a lengthy amount of time in chat with the folks at RevZilla.

They convinced me to go with the HJC RHPA ST instead and gave me a little extra off. My total actually ended up being less than the Monaco.

The recommended it over the Monaco for a variety of reason, but the primary one being the overall build quality of the helmet.

The guys at RevZilla were awesome to deal with.

So you went with a full face rather than a modular? What made you change your mind?

If your new skidlid is too small, I know these guys that live down on the Amazon River that can make slight adjustments to your head.

Yup. I decided to go full face for a few reasons, but primarily because to get a higher quality one would have cost me a lot more, and they provide better protection while keeping weight down. Really, the guys at RevZilla talked me out of it.

Haha... I might know a few of those guys too. :)

Well, just got back from the border a little while ago with my new Oxford Heaterz grips and helmet.

I've been wearing this HJC RPHA-ST around the house now for about 30 minutes and LOVE IT!

Yes, it's squeezes my head really tight in all areas right now, it seems a perfect fit and just needs to break in. There's no pain, just a constant pressure from the padding around my entire head. My head measured 58cm which should have put me into a MEDIUM according to RevZilla. I went one size up though, as my head seems to fit just slightly larger, possibly due to shape. Looks like I chose right by going up one size to a LARGE.

Quality, fit, and materials are excellent, with a huge field of vision. The helmet feels light and well balanced. It came with the pinlock insert as well.

Chalk one up for John K @ RevZilla with some stellar advice!!
