Throttle Lock for '14 VFR

I'm surprised they did not reply to you. They always been very good about replying, especially for projects where a stock part doesn't exist yet. They will make one for you at the same cost if they do not offer it . They can even make them for Convertibars bars. All you have to do is give them inside and outside diameters. Very cool company and an excellent product.

Maybe it's just me, but the fact that they are only useful on dead flat roads and when there is little or no traffic makes throttle locks of little value. I suppose it is nice to rest your hand now and again, but I would probably skip it if I bought a new VFR. If you do most of your riding in the great plains, go for it!

BTW - Mine is a Throttlemeister and it works fine.

 

Well, what's your point? You have one but they're only useful on dead flat roads? Actually, a throttlelock is useful anytime you want a hand free to adjust something, say your jacket zipper or to check that your tank bag is zipped tight. And it needn't be on a straight road, as mild steering adjustments are fine with one hand.

 

Never used one in 30 odd years of riding. Usually use me clutch hand for that kind of thing .
