Go for it ! It's a simple bike, easy to work on and pulls like a wild beast over 100 mph.

You should jump on this. If it runs well and you find no hidden issues it will perform beyond your expectations. I've had both, 700, and the 750. Don't let 50 cc's detour you. As for the price, shoot him a offer but 2500.00 isn't a bad price. Good luck.

I agree, in those days we made it equal with imports and exports to keep the economy in pace. It wasn't only HD that whined it was all American manufacturing because we where being charged more to export that we where charging to import. Subaru was the most classic example that I can remember with making the "Brat" in the early 80's. They shipped the car without the rear seats in the bed to avoid the tariffs due to not being a complete car. And adding the back seat here.

Love it! I rode my friends as much as he would allow! It was what I always wanted at 20. But then the CBR hit soon after. I bought my 2014 and wanted the "Classic" pearl white, but could not find one in town and if ordered it was the Honda discounted price of $10,999 down from the original 12,999. I bought the red at $7,999 being on the show room floor for 2 years. In time I will probably have mine painted in a white pearl essence or a great metallic candy apple red. Flat colors I am not a fan of, but I am now a fan of the bike no matter the color. Just buy the damn thing!;-) And then sell it to me in a year or 2 !;-)
