Left to right: Driving lights on ST1100 Police mounts, heated grips, charging system monitor (don't wanna stare at it all the time), USB charging port (you can see it behind the Oxford controller. The USB charger is spliced into the clock circuit so it can charge with the key off, but I put it on a switch as well.

There are two other toggles you cant see, one behind the Oxford controller to override the fan, and one behind the Charging sys monitor to override the Fuel Cut Relay.

I run a ClearView Sport Shield when I'm solo.

My ST is hideous, but it was worth it. $1300 bucks, oil change, and a new radiator cap. 43k I am going to mod mine because I don't tour so much as ride to work and occasionally run errands. Time for a new rear tire as well. I have all of the bodywork, but I am going nekkid-ish. It is going to be a long term proj. Don't think less of me...lol The ST forum dudes are all rolling their eyes everytime I ask a question. hahahaa

Calipers came in today. I barely even processed the PayPal and FedEx shows up. They are in great condition. No need to powder coat. I did purchase seal kits for them though. Pads and fancy rotors next year maybe. Lol

tear these down and sonic bath. New SS line inbound.

I had a short screen from Slipscreens UK on my ST. A great investment for warmer weather. Not much point wearing vented riding gear when there is no breeze into the vents...

On a 90-97 fork I replaced my old Calipers with Triumph Street Triple parts. They fit 1:1, these calipers are found by many bike-wreckers for a very fair price (the non-"R"-Streety is mainly driven by female drivers, after the first little crash they are sold, and no one needs these calipers ;-) ), and they habe bigger pistons for a better brake performance.

On your honda F2/F3? Damn. My F2 calipers were $50 shipped. Good to know for the future.

What I also didn't realize is that my 88/89 rotors are 295mm OD. Probably Capt and a few others knew this but I either overlooked it or forgot about it because this build is taking forever. So I can scrounge off of the 7Hundie or buy new wave rotors...neither of which sound appealing at this time. If I pull from the 7Hundie then that bike will never leave my garage. Fack.

Well poop. Yeah, there's a lot of variables when mixing up Honda front ends. I think I forgot the 88-89 got the larger rotors too.

There's a few ways to rectify, but you are most of the way down the F2 path now.

yeah, gonna just suck it up and purchase new wave rotors for it. Similar to your comments on this forum. The bikes get smaller, wallet gets emptied and then the bikes get bigger. Oh well. I am already this far down the line. I will need to be buried with this bike to get my money back.

Do you already have the F2 fender? It is unique for those forks, so I hope you're a fan.

I've got a fender I think. It is solid with zero cracks.... just a shit load of crappy paint.

    Yours if you want it.

My actual VFR is an 88 model like yours, wheels are 4,5 and 3,5x17, rear CBR600 '92 and front VFR 4th gen. Fork from 3rd/4th gen with modified cartridges for seperate damping. I own this bike for 26 years and about 150k km, so I think I know a bit about it.

It looks like it's cracked but it's not. It's just the thick shitty paint job.

Calipers rebuilt and installed. Wheel, speedo, and axle installed and 2 steps forward and 1 back. They didn’t offer the gasket behind the clutch cover so I am making my own. image.jpg image.jpg
