Cassius Clay was a bigot, racist. Everyone felt sorry for the fighter in his later days but he was very outspoken in his younger years and I have no respect for him as a person. Draft dodger too.

 

I've heard and read both good and bad stories about him - never knew him, didn't know enough about him to conclude one way or another. As a martial artist, I deeply admire his boxing skills and accomplishments and laugh at all his shit talking. As far as sacrificing for believing in something goes, he absolutely buries spoiled kapass' lame ass whining, crying, and gesturing.
