No scratches on my fairing, go drop your bike and see how you fair. The vfr is more top heavy then my R6 was by 120 pounds, not my Fault that Honda can't make a bike with all the weight up top with skinny tires. That steel tank must weight like 35 pounds add 6 gal and go ride around in the parking lot. Honda should have gone with a lighter gas tank.:tongue2: I did fix it by adding sliders, this bike won't stay up at slow speeds.

Quit whining like a little girl--man up and ride the bike, or go home to your flea ridden cats.

The gas tank at most weighs like 10 lbs, I know because I have lifted it actually. And that's about as light as they come. If you wanted a light bike with a plastic gas tank, then you should have went Ducati. By the way, you should see how many problems those plastic tanks had. Go ahead, google it. Then consider yourself lucky.

    Also, skinny tires? LOL.

pipercross filter is better than anything else-it uses all the filter area-stock doesn't-it looks like a anti noise device. By the way my new battery is working really great-I Took off the battery tender wire.:brushteeth:

be careful of stickers, they make bikes slower (ie-wind drag.) seriously.

that's the stock filter using china paper, Foam and oil has shown to work the best. I got a pipercross sticker-two small ones, I like a few stickers-but none on the fairing. I just put a fresh gal of 89 in tank, I will test this Piercross out some more, so far it is working perfect. At all rpms there is a Improvement, so that's excellent and the sound it makes is super cool. I have the snokel on to make sure water doesn't come in and it helps keep the noise down too. For 90$ Its a great mod. And it is lighter by maybe 1/2 a pound. The stock on uses heavy steal mesh, I forgot to check that on the pipercross by pushing in on the foam to see what they are using for a back plate. The filter is guarantee :ranger::bluesbros::banana: for life.

90 bucks for an air filter?! lol, this thread has to be a joke. I could stuff a used shop rag in the air box and see the same "performance gains"
