So you're saying it's about the same then? Bummer.
It does look like the Givi is a bit taller, but I wonder if that means it comes back further too - which might just be a bad thing...

Anyone here have a Givi ST screen?

LOL only 6'1' here, no problem what so ever 34" inseam with 35" sleeve length, I'd think the taller you are the more up right you'd be, believe it or not you really want your feet under you. Now my son 6'8" LOL he laughs at me, thinks my bike is a Cadillac, he does well on mine, we switch on long rides to give him a break on the lonnng rides ;) though it's no long hauler, but then his daily ride is a 954rr

I had one but it disagreed with my view on crashing... It thought breaking was a reasonable response while I, on the other hand, believed in staying the course. It was noticeably taller on my 5g than the dubble bubble, but it looked goofier. You have to see if you can live with it. After breaking the double bubble, I just went back to stock and said, "to hell with aftermarket screens", for now anyway...

Here's the post from Larry @ VFRD on the peg blocks he makes. It has all the information and pictures you need to know about the blocks.

Looks like Larry's peg lowering blocks will not fit my 93. Any other recommendations for my bike? Buell pegs maybe? I'm thinking about having my old Corbin seat redone and adding some height to it. The leather is old and dry anyway and I want it black vs. blue.

Got the blocks installed - they are exactly what I needed. They went together quickly, though I did have to dremel one. The right peg wanted to bind and not spring back down smoothly. A few zips of the dremel and it's smooth as it should be.

For a tall guy, this is definitely the best mod yet. Small change in inches, but big in the comfort level. I bet those Buells give a similar effect for less...

Also I got around to adjusting my suspension. Went to full hard on all rears, two or 3 rotations firmer on the front. This made a HUGE difference. HUGE! I'm about 200lbs, so should have done this a long time ago.

Unless i skimmed over it while reading this thread...could someone post a link to the buell peg blocks? Or post the price? I should just make my own considering im a machinist but if the buells are cheap i could be lazy...

Also, after a long ride this weekend the wind in my face is just not tolerable. By far the worst amount of wind annoyance ive had on any of my bikes. Doesn't seem like any of the aftermarket options are a godsend either...any other ideas?

The Buell option is not blocks but different pegs that can be modded to fit. Google Buell VFR and you'll find several threads.

I've got a Laminar Lip on my 93. I haven't ridden it without it since it was installed when I bought it. I'm 6-1" and it seems to do a pretty good job.

I'm 6'4" and running the Givi ST, helibars and a Sargent seat on an 02. Wind is directed right into the bottom of my helmet making the wind noise intolerable and shaking make head like one of those damned bobble toys on a cage dash. I took the Givi off and put the stock back on. The wind noise is a bit better and my head isn't being tossed in the wind as if my neck were made of al dente pasta. I might require a different brand large helmet, as I have a HJC and a Zeus that apparently fit different (noisy and comfortable or quiet and biting my cheeks).
