    You, yes, you, RVFR. :)
    Nice! Thanks!

I do not have a rack for the bike. I'm looking at the Large Wolfman dry duffel. Hoping I can strap it somehow under the seat.

I'm thinking that 40 of 47 liters will fit the tent, Thermarest, sleeping bag, clothes and tools/etc.

That size may be a bit too small for what I need now, but it looks great for every day use.

Does it have any adverse affect on the condition of the seat or plastics (if there is contact)?

Man, you guys pack way lighter than me.

I have 2x 36L hard case panniers and 1x 46L trunk ... PLUS ... a 21L marine duffel for my sleeping bag, tent, pillow, thermarest, and camp chair. :)

Tools, emergency kit, rain gear, electronics, and another items that I use frequently go in the trunk. My clothing goes into the panniers. Everything else gets fit in the tank bag or wherever I have space I can stuff it.

The Black 2002 just a few days before it was written off ...

    Awwww...
I love the look of a bike geared up for adventure! :)
    That was a beaut!

I do pack light...mostly in the clothes portion. I don't mind wearing items several days at a time...except for the skivvies LOL
It's hard to imagine what I could fit in one 47L pack.
But reviews I'm reading state that it's roomy enough for several weeks worth of tripping.

I'm considering an additional dry bag for the sleeping gear to pile on top of the main tail bag.

Pak light , yea man that's the way to go JK.. is what I do.. We'll see how it works for a 7+ day outing. There is no adverse effects what so ever with it being on the seat, they have this nice almost sticky foam like what scuba suits are made of on the bottom soft enough no not cause harm yet kinda has a tack to it making it stay put. Ya when I get paking more in my case what more is, it blows out another 4-5 inches a side, plus has all these little to medium pouches here and there, holds more than one would first think, but yea no tent and sleeping bag is going in it that's for sure. but for long weekends and the like it's perfect. Jeff , you crack me up. ;)

Got the same one as OOTV. I'll sell it for $49.95.
Ended up getting a tail cowl and tank bag.
