Suspension setting.

Well see, i went from a 2000 RC51 dailed in for my weight to this stock 98 viffer....so yeah take what you will from that lol. Im sure i can get it somewhere i can live with and im loving this bike, SOOOO much more comfortable to commute on.

 

Daver, I'm 5' 10" and 205lbs. I took my 98 up to full hard everything and backed off a bit after installing new Conti tires. I came from riding touring bikes after old sportbikes. So far at lower speeds these settings work okay, much better than stock, but like you I'm thinking I'll need to buy some aftermarket parts after a bit, I havent had a chance to do a real high speed run, that may be where I really see the need. Track days are probably out for a bit yet, but I can see further research and thought will be needed for me

 

Oh yeah, if i ever get enough time away from work and school, plus some cash to do trackdays, stock isnt going to cut it. I just put 100 miles on her today set like jessiah mentioned and it was 10x better. I think its pretty good where its at, it will work for the time being anyways.
