Survey of how many of us that have the 2014-2015 VFR 800 Deluxe Vs. the F model.

Deluxe. Figured if I was going to get one, it might as well be loaded.

 

I'm with you silas, I did not get mine down to the price you paid but within $500 ($8000) is not bad in Utah (the dealer was still asking $12,999 with a sticker on the bike. I went online and saw that Honda had a retail price drop to $10,999 and a $300 credit so $10,500). The Northeast had a ton of them for sale mainly in Wisconsin, they had a dealer co-op and where selling them at the price you paid $7600. I showed this to my dealer and just pulled the "Hey, you have had this on the floor for 2 yrs! How about you let it go!" To be truthful, I would not have bought this bike beyond $8000. The price and the insurance savings swayed me away from the Ninja 1000. (Ninja $9,999 and $157 a month insurance at $750 deductible, VFR $8000 and $53 a month insurance at $250 deductible)

If you got it out the door with licenses and taxes. I think you win the deal of the bunch. I did add the center stand to do oil changes and general service that I can do ($80 oem online part and $80 labor at the dealer to save many hundreds over the life of the bike works for me)

I'm loving my 2014 Deluxe which I bought in May of this year. I ride year round so the headed grips, center stand, and ABS all meant it was a no-brainier for me. I turned the Mrs. loose on the salesman and she gave him a thorough enough beating that I got mine for $9k even though it only had 24 miles on it.
