gotcha, when i was thinking about keeping my front fairing stock and wanted a dual headlight set i thought about just fiberglassing and insert using the stock headlight as a template and then getting the dual headlights to mount in there from poly26..thats what it looks like they and just fiberglass the housing for the lights to fit light insert...

another question, as far as rear caliper bracket..i have 3 spacers from jaime d..one is 14mm which is on the right of wheel hub and 2 on the left...one is 16mm(closest to wheel) and the other 8mm(other side of caliper bracket). would those be the ones you were referring for f2 rear caliper bracket swap?

Yeah, though I was unaware that there were a 14 and a 16. Toe had them in his hand so I didn't measure them myself. After we put the 2 larger spacers on and did a preliminary mount we measured for the 3rd, then found one that would fit. It came out great that way. I should point out since the 700 is also designated f2 that we used the brake caliper bracket from a stock CBR F2.

Okay i just measured the spacers i had..the right side came up (12.7)13mm, the left closet to the rim (15.875) 16mm and the one outside the brackets is 8mm. and the VFR's brackets works dead on. i gotta get a cbr f2 rear bracket to see if it will fit. okay let me get back to typin these instructions out for the rear conversion.

You will need a different spacer for the f2 bracket. It has a different width at the axle. When I get home tonight I'll try to get some measurements for you.

cool, those other 2 have to be different somewhere, hopefully i can grind down the inner spacer to make room for the cbr bracket.

No, the cbr bracket is thinner than the vfr one. you will need a bigger spacer than what came, most likely. I did.

We have 5th gen forks on. All we have to think of now is a way around the linked brakes.

Yes, I've been thinking of a way to get your engine, since mine is obviously not going to stop leaking, but I got demoted 4 weeks ago and money's tighter than ever. I'm hoping to get a job with another company that will increase the flow of green. If I can get some extra (extra...ha...funny) cash I'll PM you.

Focusing on making it legal and safe for my trip in 2 days. Paint was going fine until I started dragging the pieces all over and then they fell from where I had them hanging. Will just make it so I'm not embarrassed to sit on it then will fix better when I get back.

Alright folks for those who haven't seen the new pony here she is as of last night.
Sorry my camera work leaves a little to be desired.

I'll have some more shots of current work being done today some time as I have already
begun tearing into both bikes, taking all my goodies from the first build and moving them to
Charlie. (the new stallion) CBR rear and 5th gen front end will be coming over as well as the
fox shock and most likely the exhaust. Got another 4-2-1 from Fred (that I have yet to send a check for) that might make the trip instead but we will see. Would be kinda sweet to make the stock duals into a dual high mount exhaust. :)
