Supertex Build

I did all the work for the last year. Toecutter and Toxicshock have been helping me with some welding and with my wheel swap. Toecutters knowledge of the second gen is too solid not to enlist his help, and since I don't have a welder then well you get the point..... Everything else has been me. Some of the work I did while John walked me through it like the carbs, but we're just trying to push and get it done for the big Long's Bar B Q. The bike is currently sitting in his garage waiting on my lower triple so he is buttoning up a few ends for time sake.

 

Toe, what bolts are pissing you off? and I don't think anything is wrong with the headlight since we replaced the bulb.

I need to replace the mounts on the headlight that are missing and the sub frame has a few bolts that have been giving me the stink eye.This is Tex's rodeo , we are just tinkering while he is finishing the body work.:biggrin:

 

Don't worry about me doing that. I like whatever I put on the bike
to stay there.

We are leaving Thurs morning I believe. I'll be following Toe and his GPS so he would prolly be the one to give route to. Thanks:thumbsup:

Picked it up today and will attack said bike in the morning.Running a little behind but the issues of the week will be behind me tonight:thumbsup:

Alright I'm really not done but wanted to see how it was all coming together; so I slapped it
up to take a look. Plenty of wet sanding and some clear left to do but I wanted to see what
everyone thought of my windscreen. Don't even know how I like it yet, but I'll reserve my
opinion until it's on the bike.

 

Looks alot like your hole, shiny swollen rim, rusty down the hole and dirty on the sides
