Anyone want to trade their supercharged 6th gen for my 1973 Corvette Stingray. Newest Corvette you can build without having to worry about smog... Also, 1 year only car. Only Stingray with chrome bumpers on the rear and fiberglass on the front. and now :focus:

heal up well bro...and get the damn vidz up!!!
Thought about this kit as well...then I thought about the install bill from the Stealership. So I think I just do sprockets...especially with the posted pixx of the slight miscalculation you had with the SC pulley. See...I tend to have many miscalculations when I tinker with things...so your one could equal my 4...yeah...DIY with this kit for me!!! All jokes aside...glad you're healing well...now get the damn vidz up!!!

    Update

The time oot was unavoidable as there is nothing more worthless than a one handed mechanic but getting back on track. Got the VTR fan blade on (slow and painful and aggravating) and the results were mixed. The temps went to the moon, did not pass go and did not collect $200 dollars. WTFF? After looking at the set up I found the blade was way to far away from the radiator and was blowing air everywhere but THROUGH the radiator.

    Better

Took the fan back off and "adjusted" the mounting to get it a wee bit closer and the results are much better.

The fan before the "adjustment" would result in temps climbing to 240+ and not looking back. After they were better than stock in all situation but sitting dead still in traffic, would still cool but temps dropping very slowly. I even took it oot for a couple of hours in 100 ambient temps and it ran very hot in bumper to bumper traffic but would off as soon as I got moving again. Rode it a couple of time in 85-90 ambient and it runs cooler than stock now. I am calling the cooling system a done deal.

is there a way to channel the air from the fan blade to the radiator? maybe put some cardboard or something around the fan housing to prevent the air from going all over the place except where it needs to go...

The Ride of the Century: Stunt Riders Overwhelm Cops in Missouri

"The Streetfighters say that they don't speed and they are almost always in control of their bikes. But of course, a crash will happen every now and then."

This has got to be one of my favorite quotes of all time...
