I didn't have my external mic yet lol, as for the profanity, I can keep my mouth shut in these incidents.....screaming F$*K or S#$T.....usually doesn't help the situation.
All kidding aside, I used to swear, yell, honk the horn and just about everything in between when I was cut off or experienced a close call where I was not at fault. (Not always the case either). But if you really think about it. Do you really think these people would ahve done what they did if they knew the potential hazard they casued. And do you reallly think that the fact they saw what they did was incredibly stoopid, did not make them think about their driving for at least a few moments? And all that said, do you think maybe after they realized what they had done, our gestures would add anything to what they already learned from the incident? I kinda think not. Now if they didn't know they had done some dumb assed move, or they think they have the right of way as so many on the road these days think, us included, then yeah. Honk the horn and yell out at them they are morons or whatever your preferred phrase is. That becomes a degree of education. I like the sexually explicit descriptive words myself....so long as I am not in company car of course. But otherwise, I have discovered that I just go on my way understanding they know what they did was stupid and dangerous or both. I have found that my stress level seems to drop right down and I go on enjoying the rest of my ride, rather than fixating on someone elses mistake. ********VOTE FOR RANDY FOR PRESIDENT OF THE MORALITY MOVEMENT***********
Better than all that psychological BS, I wear a hotwheels on a lanyard around my neck and stick it with an icepick when some cager does me dirty.
