    Exhaust headers and kickstand photos.
The exhaust is from Cycle Exchange and is a 4 into 2 into 1 system.

I am not sure if I will stay with this muffler. I am thinking it over.
I did decide to get rid of this muffler and go with a short stainless magaphone
style muffler. It will cause a two week delay though.
I also ordered a chrome clamp that fits.

    Kick stand shot.

Are the headers coated or heat painted? Thinking of getting mine jet-coated.

The header has a special coating but the muffler is just heat paint.

Today is New Years day and so there \will be no mail,no UPS ,no USPS,No FEDEX. =no parts!

I did get my battery installed and I turned the key. No smoke!! YES.
Then it was slow to wake up but I retightened the battery cables on the battery and finally the horn would honk, and the engine will turn over at a good rate.
    Instrument lights CHECK.
Headlight - Low and High, CHECK.
    Oil pressure light CHECK.
Neutral light will not go off?
    Engine turns over CHECK.
Ignition to the spark plugs CHECK.
All that is left now is the turn signals and winker function. Waiting for signals to arrive.
I will have to take the neutral light mechanism out of the engine
if an ohms test will not produce results. Tomorrow.
Getting too cold now. I will go inside and cook dinner. Like a good man should.

I am thankful for a home, heat, food, and a beautiful wife.

I also changed the front brake hose (33 years old) to a stainless braided brake line. Rock hard action now.

How the heck are you gonna mount the bigass bags and tail trunk on that puny little rear fender. I can't imagine not going anywhere without my moto-winnebago gear..

How is the seat material attached to the rear plastic? It looks like it's either screwed or riveted.

The seat material (cushion) is attached with brass brads. The seat is all metal.
