If you bought it new from the dealer you should have gotten both the seat cowl and the seat. Unlike the 6th gen where the cowl slipped over the seat, the 8th gen has two separate parts.

you can have mine. Those things were the FIRST to go.

Avoid the Two Bros. Only sounds good when idle. Can't hear that bitch for shit at speed

Be sure to let us know how you make put with the stealership and the grab handles and seat cowl issue. I think that is disgusting those items not coming with your bike when they are interned by Honda to do so.

I rang Honda Australia as this has been going on For two months since then the dealer has gone bankrupt Honda actually took part of blame as kept ringing them and they kept referring me back to dealer, now there is no dealer they are putting case to higher manage tn and MAY cover the cost to supply both the cowl and handles

Wow that really sucks - a bunch of wankers they are! Hopefully Honda will make it right for you. Make sure you file a proof of claim form with the bankruptcy court (at least that's what they call it in the U.S.) so you can stand in line with all the other creditors just in case they have any assets left.

Word has it I was one of lucky ones
There are blokes that have paid for bikes in full before delivery of bikes to now be 1000's out of pocket with no bike to show for it
The owner and sales director apparently scheduled to do prison time for fraud

Thanks Brad! It looks like the green and blue wires go to the LED position light and all I'll need to do is remove those two small screws to change it out for white.

I didn't go as far as undoing the led section but if handy with a soldering iron would not be hard to remove Amber LEDs and replace with white I'll look maybe tonight

In the US, this situation would be a paradise for lawyers suing corporate Honda. A great lesson for those who think that dealers always wear the white hats. Some do. Others stole them.
