Let me know if any of you are bringing a guest (that I don't already have marked down as such) por favor? That way I can adjust the reservation.

Let us see if there is any more of the chimping, of the in, of the chimp in....

    Cheers,

Man, that bottom one is a monster! I don't think I could even inflict major damage to that baby! Slater's is now on my list of places to eat.

I cleaned him up a bit. Frank Zappa's hair was just a little too much for him.

So, I'm definitely in for Slaters but am going to have to boogie after lunch to make it back to San Diego for a late afternoon wedding. I'm going to miss Cook's Corner and the Oakley stop. Looking forward to seeing all of you. Randy, have you already started your trip south to make it here by Saturday?

Not intending to throw a damper on this fine event, but, have yet another Celebration of Life to go to this weekend.

Seems I should be posting on the "You know you're getting old when" thread that I now have to look at scheduling these affairs now.

This is happening practically right on my backyard!

Sadly, I'm attending a wedding in San Diego that starts at 1PM. Trust me when I say, I'd rather do this than the wedding but the wedding and my promise to attend came first. Another one of those things in my life I call "I have to....".

Those burgers look so good! How about let's do it again soon for those of us who couldn't swing it this time around? Or a ride. Whichever.

No more weddings for me as long as I can avoid them. Been working on different aspects of weddings for the last 25 years. Have seen almost every culture and religion with different themes and different crowds. Even been to three of my own.
How about a midweek get-together? May be a taco Tuesday? Not at cooks please, I rate their tacos #1 from the bottom up.

Mofo, what the Hell! Didn't you learn anything from all those other peoples weddings that you goofed it on two or three of your own?!! Just joshin with you man. Hey you ever had fish tacos at the Briantine? I put them at the top of my list, and the Brig in Del Mar has a great view of the race track and a bit of ocean view as well. Maybe could meet up there at some point. Looking forward to meeting everyone that can make Slaters this Sat. Do they have a kids meal there? If I attempt to eat one of those Ginormous burgers on my own I'm sure that I will need a nap. I may have to bring a doggie bag, and no Long, that doesn't mean that I'm bringing you a dog in a bag:hss:

Some people never learn my friend. If you have a loved one -male of female- about to tie the knot, have him/her talk to me before.
Yes, I've had fish tacos at the briantine. Love them! I sent a friend of mine who was riding the perimeter of the USA last June to this place, he can't stop talking about them now.
Been to del mar, but I don't remember eating at brig before.
Slaters has an extensive menu, including kids meals, everybody will be pleased.

    Mofo,

This is off subject, however, my favorite place in OC for tacos is "Baja Fish Tacos" off of Lake Forest Drive (they have multiple OC locations). It is right across the street from BestBuy, right next to Coco's. It takes a lot for a Mex place to blow up my skirt, but this one does it so well that I almost need a cigarette afterwards! I used to live in San Clemente for 3 years (until last summer of 2013), so I would go there occasionally. Just make sure to order their pinto beans and rice with whatever you get. They are seasoned, and oh so good! Mmmmmmmmmm.....makes me what to go up there now!

Sooooo, who is down for a massive simultaneous burnout in Mofo's office parking lot? Our way of saying... "we miss you, we  you, and here is our way of expressing it it..." I would be surprised if it doesn't cause tears to well up in his eyes.... :pout:

I know exactly where that BFT is. I go there a lot. Have you tried Krazy Eddies, which is right next door to the Cycle Gear. Awesome breakfast food.

I'm game for a meet and greet or a short ride then BFT. They indeed make great fish tacos. If you like fish taco's try California Fish Grille. Salmon tacos for $1.56!!! So good and so affordable too. You can order three and won't even break $6.
