The precious patio furniture is fine and most importantly the VFR is safe and sound in the garage. Here's an updated "storm report":

Went for a drive - not much damage in my area but the power is still out :( Don't be alarmed at the horrific noise at the 1:00 mark - it's just my son belching - lol

It was a non-wash oot here, I drained too much water oot of the pool only to have to add it back along with chlorine! Nice video, I dont know about being p-whipped but I did have a motorcycle parked in the bedroom before I started dating my wife. Now it resides in the garage along with all my other bikes/tools. Installing the shutters sucks oot loud I tell yah! I did it, and felt safer but the yards are pretty much un-scathed. No flying coconuts or anything oot of the ordinary. I did get stuck on the highway because I took the wrong car and it only had a 1/4 tank, (F in Bastard!) it was painless though, I called the old lady and she came for me, there was a gas station across the street, we filled up two 5 gallon jugs and I used one in the stuck car. I did get gas in her car though, so now I hear the symphany of a smelly car. Anyway, we dodged one for sure, peace OUT.

Good to hear you're okay ridervfr - you're lucky you were able to find gas - our gas stations up here started running out Tuesday night because everyone was panic buying.

We just got our power back within the last hour - I think we really dodged the bullet with the eye staying several miles off shore the whole way up the state. I feel bad for the hundreds of folks that died in Haiti and the folks up north in Jacksonville, Georgia and South Carolina. Hope everyone stays safe!
