I just bought a pair of used (like 2 times) A* SMX-5 boots off of the old wera boards. It was a weird feeling coming from a pair of DC riding boots. The movement restriction was the biggest adjustment, but I now wish it was a bit more restrictive like the Rs or Pluses. The 5 is a good street boot, but doesnt have enough torsional support for track riding. Those Cortechs on there are a grea deal at $140. My 5's look like these... got em for a hundo spot. Hell of a steal.

I would never be able to commute to work on my 500. I come off stinking of exhaust fumes every time. Thats partially why I want to add another bike by spring so I can start riding to work.

My 99 had been down before I bought it and it put scratches on the finned part of the primary cover. I sanded the fins down a little(carefully) and put some touchup paint over the marks. Unless you put your eyeballs down there and look at it, you can't even tell.

Shit, wasnt even mine yet.You make miles as a biker, you gonna experience a lot of crazy stuff and a lot of crazy drivers.Hope the damage was minimal. veryfastrene.
