Just a heads-up for 8th gen owners, there's a thread on VFRD at the moment http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/i...229-seat-cowl/ concerning the 5 rubber pads under the edges of the seat cowl. Quite a few people have lost one or found them coming loose, I guess the gnomes of Kumamoto don't stick them on particularly well and I shudder to think how much Honda would ask for 20mm of rubber. They can only come off when they're not in contact, i.e. when the seat cowl is off, so make sure you still have 5 and take care when you remove it.

Update - I made a replacement but if you must have OE - Part no. in Europe is 77212-MFJ-D00 and they cost £1.92 each in the UK.

Checked mine today, all there. A little dab of contact cement should do the trick. If you lose one, I think you can find a rubber edge material that you use without spending big bucks on OEM parts.
