Ok, when I started the sarcasm free thread, I had something like this vid in mind.....

Its not a secret that I find most Harleydood stuff rather silly, and even though I've owned the bikes myself, just couldnt quite bring myself to buy into what they were selling.

But that doesnt mean that a blind pig cant find an acorn now and then, and this vid is sarcasm free, they mean what they are saying, it rings true, and my only regret it that there werent some sport touring/ sportbikers in there with them.

props to BikerPost.com, a mostly Hog site, but since I still have friends and care about them, I still track their activities.

Holy shit, look what pops up as next in the vids. H A's stab Bandidos gang member ahahahhahahahaa

The Decent Guy award is well deserved. My personal thanks for not posting pix of yourself in your birthday suit and for leading by example.

So how did they really get those dead harleydoods to talk? Probably fake like the moon landing IMO.

Just got a PM from Crusty. He wonders if he can come and live with you? I told him the offer was just for overnight. There was something about adoption and a tax writeoff but I figured you'd want to respond directly.

Brother, I live in the Dirty South.

Not that it has any thing over any other region when it comes to people misbehaving. Heaven know Ive seen some folks acting the fool in all corners of our great country and beyond, but we have something not often repeated on this planet. We have the free will and where-with-all to act like idiots. That is indeed rare. You dont see that every day.

The funny thing about the South is that it has a really indefinable quality. Its hard to put a finger on. The people here can be both both artistic, creative, destructive and mean all at the same....damn....time. Its like nothing you have seen. I dont know if its exactly repeated anywhere because its really an amalgam of so many cultures where both the best and worst have been incorporated. I can watch a camo wearing nutjob root for Nicky in Jerez. I can have a man tell me how to cook crawdads and do a beef reduction. Maybe Faulkner was onto something.

Beyond that , I live in only the gateway to the Dirty South. There are so many crazy diversions here that have to do with race that you could spend your lifetime doing treatises on social interaction, and perhaps have a career only based on history, art and influence.

And none of that is bragging, if fact you could make an argument that its a bit sad.

Then, to top off, you could go do the F-loop or the I-loop,ss the locals (and sometimes the cops) call it, or my own privately constucted V-loop as I call it, on the bike and come home worn out and happy..

    Nice catch Bear.

I'd say both Faulkner and Harper Lee touch on it brother. I always blamed the uniqness of the South on antebellum ideals skewed by Reconstruction hate.

Appalachia is a culture that just happens to be dropped in the South. It’s a culture within a culture. Not quite the same BB but nice try!
