    ^^^ Sorry! Too late!

She's back together as of last night - Still needs a lot of wet sanding and buffing that I can't do yet. But she's together, and all of the lighting works 100%. Gotta love a Honda. Pics later today.

Curious, RC 30's have a VFR750R designation on the tailpiece below the pass seat cowl. Are you planning something like that?
Outstanding work BTW, very well done!

    How about this one:

23 Euros ($28.61 USD I think) last item on this page:

    Hcker-rc36

I bought this pad and several other hard to find VFR pieces from Thurn. Good people to deal with.

Just got back from the shakedown run, 20 miles and no problems.

Pretty awesome that I totally forgot to turn the fuel back on and was kicking myself for not pulling and cleaning the carbs when I remembered to flip the switch and she fired right off!

Those new rotors are AMAZING!!! No more pulsing brakes! I forgot what that was like!

Congrats. Your ride looks nice. I wish I had the balls to do that. As of now my all stock 6th gen will remain...well, all stock.
Nice job. You should be proud of yourself.

@Arnzinator: Yeah, I've got "VFR750F" decals in white going on the tail pieces. I just need to do the number plate outline in black vinyl first.

@Hammerspur: My butt ain't worth $28 for a fancy pad.

@pjvtec: You would get the balls to do it if you dumped your bike and it looked like crap.

So I got busy with the buffer tonight, and put the mirrors on just for crustyrider.

Still a work in progress, but a RIDEABLE work in progress. I'd say it's 97% complete at this point.

    Thanks for all the compliments.

I actually caught myself adoring it in the garage tonight... It's nice to have that feeling back about the VFR. Parking it on it's side into a ditch really takes that away.

Looks magic, congrats man. Are those different mirrors or did you just pull the rubbers off and paint them?

@Bryan88 - Yeah, I pulled the condoms off the mirrors and quickly rattle canned them black last summer. They need to be done correctly at some point - the paint I used must have been crap.

I do that every time when I get home from a ride. I still can't believe I own a VFR.

She's almost too pretty to ride Viffer.....You might have to go find a beater to take out and thrash occasionally and reserve this one for clear/sunny Saturdays!

    (NOT)

Nice job. Ya got me thinking.....I think I need a pile of parts to put together out in the garage!

As every one else has said it is looking great and you have done a fantastic job. What I forgot to ask in my last comment, was why did you use enamel paint and not ordinary cellulose? There is probably a straight forward answer but I feel I am missing something.
Enjoy owning such a good looking bike and keep it safe.
