I am a racing fan and I like Rossi. A lot of people take shots at Rossi and get mad when he shoots back at them. Lorenzo is a great talent and he seems to be upset at Rossi for going hard when he was going hard also. These guys are on the same team, but do not seem to be friendly at all. Check the clip and tell me if you think Rossi was going too hard and if he should have eased up so his teammate could have wrapped up the Motogp Title this year.

if you watch the old dirt flat trackers you will see that alot, It helps them in the turns.

Well dirt trackers also wear a lead overboot on the left boot, and also dont have brakes installed on their bikes!

So why does Rossi stick his leg out? Its not even touching the asphalt. More likely he could be using it as a balancing aid? I dont follow him too much, and never saw that technique before while going 200+

    ^^^^^^^
alot of the guys do this now both left and right, more so on the left.
it is even catching on in world superbike.
it allows you to make a tighter turn ( some how ) as well as keeping the back from drifting out.
Rossi started it the end of 08 and now you see stoner, pedrosa and so on doing it as well.
The dirt trackers used it to make adjustments on how far they drifted out the rear, some how Rossi figured out a way to use a modified method of this to give him more corner speed.
Watch close on some corners and you will see rossi get a tighter line then say jorge in the corners as well as a few MPH.

Wow, just when I was getting accustomed to racers wanting to spin the rear tires and making the back end slide through the turns. Now this?

Wonder if it has something to do with all the elctronic traction controls they run now? Hmmm, interesting.

when moto gp goes back to the 1000cc you will see the rear slide out again.
the 800's you loose too much time doing that so corner speed is the key.
I also hope they loose some of the traction control stuff when they go back to the 1000's

What?................. That was just an old fart showing the kid how to block pass. Next week he'll show him how to hang your leg so far off the bike that your dick actually helps you brake later.....moral of the story: Never get into a pissing contest with a guy named Rossi on a motorcycle.

    Definitely NOT.

( Darn clip has been pulled due to Copyright )

Never mind I watched the race live on TV it was a fantastic tussle during those last 4 laps or so between Rossi and Lorenzo. Lorenzo has this season in the bag anyway so if he didn't want to play with Rossi he wouldn't have.

On a side note I'm glad Stoner has finally found form and got the Duc working right, will be interesting seeing him and Pedrosa in Honda colours battling it out on and off the track next year.

instead of whining about it, lorenzo should study the lesson served up by the master.
