Rather than chasing a pointless and grossly unreasonable warranty claim, you should be focussing on cleaning the crap out of the throttle bodies.

I did shoot some gunmount in- I don't know how much stuff got though-the chestnut's are big
so its unlikely they did, but some stuff did. How do you clean that out?
It is not pointless to try and get a new filter-I paid extra money for that lifetime war.

BB writing in the now popular third person, suggests that we help SOW with his defect. Drugs or permanent residence in a nice institution would be two of several avenues of help.

Lifetime wear warranty doesn't include rodents eating it and shitting and pissing on it.

If you used off the shelf Gumout carb cleaner then you just took the special coating of the throttle bodies. The FSM states not to use stuff like that. Only cleaner made specifically for throttle bodies.

The stuff/gunk you found in the throttle bodies is most likely chipmunk piss! Unless he had diarrhea too!! Is your bike running shitty?????

If rodents got to SOW's edible air cleaner, this is a perfect example on how worthless his cats are except for those with the acquired taste for Hello/Goodbye Kittyburgers.

    Glad it's running well.
I do think you need to invest in better cats.
I have 3 moggies and the only rodents I see are either being eaten on the back lawn or a sad collection of less edible parts spread around the yard. No rodents ever take up residence in the shed or house.

I took a good ride and the bike is back to normal, I only have one old female cat to guard against chipmonk, but I haven't seen any lately. The nest must have been built during the winter. it look s like acitune is no good in these cleaner. My other can say throttle bodies on it and it no good either. I look for a really good cleaner.:gun3:

Could you use a pooper scooper for a small dog for cleaning up that cat crap? If the smell brings out the neighbors. Spray the stuff with some vinegar.
