I ride in Nike jet black tactical boots. they're awesome, and light, and survived a highside @ 80 already. outstanding, and 150 bucks in whatever size you decide you are. 10.5 Wide here.

leather/ballistic nylon. nice thin toe area so you're not fumbling for an upshift ever. Me likey.

Did I mention they're as light as running sneakers? I can full on sprint or run 2-3 miles in these things and not think a thing about it.

a great balance of road rash protection, on bike functionality, and real world ability. They do wear out quick though. cooshy running soles grind up pretty quick on the roads. but at 135-150 a pop, pretty easy buy every 2 years or so
