Reg, I tend to agree with BB about the temps. I have never worn Aerostich so don't know how wind resistant they are. I have ridden often in -5C temps, even a few times in -10C temps. The cheap rubber backed rain suits go a real long way to keeping you warm actually. They stop air movement so you trap the body heat inside. This with a good suit, and you should stay plenty warm enough. But if the air easily penetrates the seams of that suit, then you will get cold. Several hours of riding in cold equates to sore neck and shoulders at the end of the day.

I offered to send him my heat gear on loaner but he did not get back to me. Bet he wished he had it now. That's OK Reg. It adds character and lord knows, you need a lot of that!

SLOVFR is about to ride into a damned storm here. We are supposed to get 2 1/2 inches of rain tomorrow and lots more for the next couple days.

 

He got heated grips so he should be ok :wink:

 

This storm coming in the PNW is going to be a bitch. S maybe should pull over or just turn around and head for the barn. My place in Ogeron is on the coast. We are looking at 2.5 inches of rain which means flooding and high winds that can gust to 100mph.
