after you meet me you'll understand that when I say I really don't mind having friends over and staying as long as they want, I mean it. If anyone starts to bother me, I'll sick XXBlackbird on them. He's some kind of giant... Think Shrek on a bike...

I always liked magilla gorilla. my brother said that I looked like grape ape when driving my ford focus, but I think he actually meant magilla gorilla...

The drewl-mobile is one step closer to being in shape for the reg-a-thon. I figure I will be in the middle speed class, unless there is no slow class, the I will be the slow class. So, if SLO is sweeping then he will be dragging his butt waiting for me.
I would practice more, but it is difficult with only one wheel.

No worries, you can ride with me in SLO pack ;)

Besides, even the fast guys slow down once they get lost in the hills.

And just because we've got a few EMT's along for the ride, doesn't mean any of ya'll can crash again. There will be a two-case beer penalty for any such infraction.

Unfortunately I'll be arriving in California 2 days after the BBQ, even though I'll be missing this epic event, I'll be making frequent trips to Reg's since I'll only be 200 miles away...

What area will you be in? We'll have to coordinate a time to get the local crew together -- whether Reggie is home or not, he usually has plenty of beer ;)

On the subject of beer... Currently the Regerator is serving Sam Adams but looking to upgrade to Firestone-Walker Reserve before the festivities (I love that beer!) I was gonna get the IPA but the girl who getting the keg for me suggested I not get something that heavy since she heard you were all a bunch of lightweights...

Okay, so does anyone have a pretty decent count?

I may have mentioned it, but if you want to join in the lead/trail chatter, we'll be on FRS radios. We are using midland 2-ways but whatever brand you want should work I think. just have a decent headset (at least that's our experience)

Oh, and you folks who are staying at Reggies....it might not be a bad idea to bring a sleeping bag to ensure there are enough blankets to go around....I will be bringing one.....AND don't forget your generous $20-25 dollar donation (maybe a few extra bucks if necessary to re-supply food and beer throughout the weekend) to the Casa de Reg food/beer/hotel fund!

Their IPA is pretty damn good. I'm down for it. The girls can stick to their Bud Lite's and Smirnoff Ice (Sorry XX).

Looks like it's time to wire the autocomm back up.

Yeah, bring your radios. You guys can help me sing to Brian. He especially likes David Allen Coe's Nothing Sacred album...

I would chip in extra for good beer. Bud gives me a headache and heartburn.

That's pretty selfish, what about the rest of us that would benefit from your extra contribution and reduced consumption? geeeesh

I'm sure Reggie's got some fine wine-in-a-box or something.

Fine wine-in-a-box sounds HIGH class! Should I bring a shirt and tie?
