Add some floorboards and some of those grips with black plastic fringe and it takes away some of that stigma.

That's obvious with the word " Superbike" and being advertised as a VFR800rr, wonder if that's false advertising ?

The crank case shows it's been low sided, mirrors don't look right, it's missing a Honda wing on the tank and the fairing looks like it may be one of those Ebay Kits ?

I don't think there is a member here who would be fooled into thinking that Honda produced a special edition Repsol VFR but there is s sucker around every corner. On the other hand, the price isn't bad if the mileage is low as the seller has stated (subjective) so who's being taken advantage of? It would sit better if the seller diclosed that the body work was aftermarket and that the bike was a tribute or something of that nature. It could be a kit off e-bay, the case damage would suggest that or it may not be as the decals are available but either way they had to paint the tank and the wheels. It may be a good deal for $3200 but a closer inspection is in order to make that determination IMHO.

When I saw the ad, I have to say that it was nice to see something different.

A definite DON'T like from here. A VFR is a beautiful machine and this just doesn't do it justice. I realise it is racing colours but it just looks naff. However VT Viffer has a fantastic colour scheme that I would love to recreate, if you have seen his thread I'm sure you would agree. I don't know how to link it so I wont try, but worth a look.

I would love an RC45 paint scheme even if I'm called a poseur. I just wouldn't care..........

Nice to look at from a distance, wouldn't ride it, and I am also premedicated.
