Regulator? Battery? Please help!

    Okay so I installed the new regulator as well as a new battery. Here's the output:
    Battery (not connected): 12.78v
    Battery (connected, bike turned off): 12.20v
    Regulator (not connected): good
    Stator (bike turned off): 0 ohms
    Battery (bike warmed up, idle): 13.50 - 13.90 (keeps fluctuating)
    Battery (bike warmed up, 5000rpm) 14.30

    #1 are these numbers good? and #2 is it fine for the voltage to constantly fluctuate while the bike is idling?

    The fluctuating is not serious, but the voltage drop to 12.2V is not good. The only drain, with the ignition off, is the clock. You need to find the source of that parasitic drain.

    I also have have speedo adjuster connected. It gives an exact representation of how fast the bike is going (some bikes are about 10km off)

    That shouldn't be drawing power with the ignition off. You shouldn't see any voltage drop just by connecting it to the bike.

    With the bike completely off connect a multimeter to the negative cable and the negative battery terminal. Set it to a high value first, say 10 AMPS. You may lower the setting until it starts registering to a value you may read. (Three mA or .003 Amps is the maximum normal drain.) Put the ammeter down and pull fuses until the reading drops below 3 mA. You have then identified the circuit with a short. Next you must check the wiring and devices on that circuit to identify the problem.

    Here's what it looks like now. I will pretty it up after winter since it's too cold to be working on it and I don't own a garage yet (Building one next year). Ended up just crimping it for now since the connection plugs are pretty awesome. They release an adhesive that seals everything from the inside out so nothing can get in.

    Keep an eye on the crimps, still can have some resistance, but yours look good.

    Yeah, I'll keep an eye on it. I still have the shrink wrap tubes so if I see some funny business, I can just easily snip them and learn how to solder them.
