Weeds!!! This better be an Aprils FOOLS joke!!! I was going to start one that the SLO 3 meet was cancelled but figured someone would have a heart attack so I didnt......So fess up Weeds......JOKE OR NO JOKE ???

No Joke dudes...I'm sorry. Really, man, I didn't want to be a casualty, especially the first one! I wish it were. I'm getting drunk right now...to drown my sorrows and to imagine what you will all be doing this weekend!

 

I saw let the coop wait till next week, grab your balls and tell her its all Drewls fault!!!

 

Hopefully this is just an April Fool's joke. But if its not, and maybe this isn't the thread to start this discussion,........ but WTF is wrong with women to do this to their men ? I mean WTF !!! A chicken coop ? give me a effin' break. Those had better be some pretty damn special chicken. :crazy:

Now weeds, im not picking on you or your manhood, nor your wife really. okay, nix that last part. But its not your wife though, many of them seem to do this. I just don't get it. And i kinda dont get the fact that your giving in to her, but at the same time i kinda do. .......... in fact kudos to you for doing what needs done for the childrens sake, i know id probrably have a VERY hard time doing the right thing in this case. Perhaps thats why i'm dvorced. (never been happier btw) But what goes on in a woman's head to think its a loving thing to do to keep you away from such an event.

I guess this makes me feel even better about my girl. I know she'd never do such a thing.......

Hi All.

Yup. It was a wet ride to say the least. Left Chilliwack around 11:00 and stopped at the duty free of course. Cheap cigars and good Scotch. It was dry for a short spell but then the heavens opened up. From Bellingham to Vancouver it was pretty much a down pour. Temps were near freezing for the most part but did not run into any snow.

Stopped in to meet RVFR for the first time. We had chatted before but never met. Contrary to what some may think, Jay is a gentleman to be sure. The hot chocolate sure hit the spot. But he like Chomper photoshops pictures of me. I am not that fat. Jay said it was snowing earlier that day in Olympia.

Then on to Vancouver to stay with Hootch and his fine family . Two adorable kids. Their hospitality cannot be overstated. It is nice to have a comfortable place to lay your head. But I think he had alternative motives cause soon as his wife came home, he sent her out to the garage to see what a newer 6th Gen looks like. Hmmmm.

The trip from Olympia to Vancouver was far wetter than Chilliwack to Oyympia. But having the right gear makes all the difference in the world. My gloves are soaked. The rest of me for the most part stayed dry and warm. Heated jacket liners and pant liners cannot be discounted as required gear for me.

I am most appreciative to Kevin and his family. And many opthers who have offered as well.

Next leg starts in the AM. Should hit Sacramento or farther. I guess I will stop when I am tired. Should hit Regies hopefully by noon Friday. Beer must be precisely 37 degees F for optimum flavour. Take it form an ex Brewerey worker.

 

All SLO III mods are done!

Tomorrow morning will be some last minute buttoning up of the viffer, and packing. Then off to meet Drewl and TC here in northern Sac.

As SLOIII rapidly approaches, I can't help but be hella disappointed that I can't be there. I hope all of you have great rides and a great time. Keep everyone safe, and tip a chilled one (or three) for me.

 

Yo Was great to meets you too. Good to hear you made it safe and sound all thou wet. Ha, :biggrin: photoshop my ass, it's the 4 layers you were wearing, not that the the hot coco didn't help matters. Here's to looking for the weather to be better when you come back through.

Have a safe trip, Randy. Gonna miss not getting the Prime Minister's autograph and official signet ring seal stamp thingy. And thanks Tori, for the pep talk. Five bud light limes and I'm even more depressed. But, I did manage to get a lot done on the chicken coop! My daughter shows them at the fair...she's pretty special. (Still, chickens or SLOIII, Hmmmm, which one?)

Sorry to hear that you not make it to SLO III, You are doing the right thing by staying home and make your kids happy. Not things beat the smiles on the kids face. There are always next time

I would like to hit Stockton as planned to meet sixweeds and make him even more depressed...I mean, cheer him up.

 

Randy is on his way. Left my house around 7:30 this morning. The weather looked a bit better this morning than it did yesterday. Once he gets out of the Portland area he should have smooth sailing. It was a pelasure meeting him and you folks will be glad he is coming...he is a class act all the way. I was bummed this morning when he left because I would have really liked to be joining him to meet all you fine folks. I should have vacation time all ready to go for the next one. I sent a couple of raffle items with him in my honor
