I actually have an entire chain that is heavier duty, but then I'd need sporckets and some way to make clearance. I'm not quite the modder that seb and mello dude are. I get started on it and scratch my head a bit then go get a beer.

only 10 days... man, I still have some things to do... I have to work a whole bunch right before it happens, too. I'm gonna be ready for a break by BBQ time. Still no progress on the scooter. I think it's gonna need yet another masterlink but I dont want to build another chain just to break it again. I need to figure out where it's binding up.

well, I worked on the scoot some more. It's a no go. I was down to my last masterlink and it just didn't fit right. the chain is twisted. The rear sproket cant be removed because it uses star head screws which I dont have a driver for, and because the chain coming off has dug into a few of them and made them chewed up. once they come off they'll have to be replaced. regardless, I don't think either of the chains I have will be working by then and I am not buying any more chains for it. I'll probably just give up on it and sell it off on craigslist to someone who likes to tinker more than me. I have other projects that are more fun for me. I have a big surprise that I am hoping to get finished before everyone gets here. Still no work from Brian about hooking up the live feeds. I tried to get my old labtec cam working, but Vista doesn't recognize it, it thinks it's a microphone. Someone remind me why I couldn't just get WinXP on this laptop like I asked for...
