Yes I am at ISO limits much of the time unfortunately. Lens is not VR though I know why you ask, correction for blur at a lower speed. Yes, no doubt that pure shade or overcast skies make the best pictures. I am almost always on manual mode but sometimes try the priority modes. At full zoom the aperture is fixed at 5.6, and I may use the ISO for bracketing.

Interesting about key blanks (funny about the Nikon joke), the locksmith says the original keys is from Japan. The ones Honda sold me he says are Chinese. Little did I know he has the same blank, and it is...drumroll...Italian. "Them Italian's make darn good keys." By the way a good lesson: There was no reason for me to buy Honda blanks. The locksmith had the exact same blanks. Also if a key is destroyed, or does not work, the locksmith will not charge anything. Lesson learned and $16 pittered off to Honda. Always call the locksmith first.

Back to photography, yes, over the long haul I have learned everything is a compromise. The motorcycle selection was a brand new lesson in compromise! It was so hard to choose one especially never having ridden one before!

Oh yes I forgot something quite good: When a locksmith, who has worked on dozens of bikes says, "I've never seen a bike like this!", well that, that makes my silly grin even bigger.
