Again, you guys are all great!
    Thank you sooooooooooooooo much!!
My torque wrench is kinda broken and I don't think it goes up to 142?
The shop where I work in the winter (we wrench on big Piston Bullies) has good, big quality tools. I will ether borrow what I need or take the bike there in the back of my truck to finish the job correctly.
I really do appreciate your concern and keeping me accountable!!!

At the tail end of one of my tours, I felt that the rear was a little sloppy on the freeway as I was getting close to home. Pulled into the garage and the bearing on the rear wheel had totally disintegrated. That could have been catastrophic in the heavy freeway traffic. When I got it to the shop and they pulled the wheel off, bits and pieces tinkled onto the shop floor. You can never be overly careful. Glad to see things are working out Ken.

BTW. A side note. Did you know that the wheels on a Tesla are torqued to 130#. I had to go out and get a bigger torque wrench so I could change the tires on my daughter's car. Besides, I think my other torque wrench was fooked oop. Di
d not know you were supposed to return the settings to zero before you stored the wrench. The old one is now used as a breaker bar.

If it were me, while the axle nut is off, time to dissassemble the entire rear end, check bearings and give them a good greasing before putting it all back together. It would be very proactive and a shame if you didn't do it while you can.

The same thing happened to my '98, I guess about 5 years ago. I was able to get most of what I needed from a part out someone was doing.
While it is on the stand and afu, yes take more stuff apart clean and grease as suggested. You know, while you're in there.
You don't want to take this apart again later do you?

I was thinking about that "while its apart" deal before, I wanted to at least get my eyes on the bering.
Really good idea to get some fresh grease in there.
With Randy's story, it really would't hurt to just put new bering in?

Sounds like their ERP system is dated. That should have instantly showed as NLA when ordering.

I read this and thought you found your hub......... yes or no?
On Partzilla, I see the nut, washer and dampers showing as available. What are you missing that you can't get?
I would call your next supplier ahead of placing the order.....

I found the outer hub, the nut and washer and half of the dampers are missing.
I cannot find the 35mm nut anywhere, also wondering if it is a special "spring" washer or what?

So, I am looking for a 35mm nut that is stakeable.
Does anybody know the thread pitch on the rear axel of these things?

I'm only going to say it one more time. CMSNL. They are the only real game on the planet for Honda NOS. If it's just hardware, David Silver Spares has some stuff too. It's that, or buy some junk off Ebay.

So that is the place in the Netherlands, right? I am down to just the 35mm"lock Nut" and "spring washer". Who is David Silver?

Okay, looks like I might have everything except that silly little "spring washer" #24 in the diagram.
can I just use a washer from anywhere else that is the same size? or is it a specific part??

This really reminds me of the thread where the guys sprocket bolts had "walked" out and chewed halfway through the swing arm.

The guy who professed he didn't need a torque wrench because he knew how to use a hammer instead?
