Sorry Rogue - I wasn't trying to pry into your personal life. Just wondering how you got your bikes over there to ride vs. just renting a couple.

Surfboards I get......but traveling with your motorcycle - that can't be cheap!

Suppose I should start a thread on Hawk forum, but I thought it was amazing that this bike has moss on the swing arm and is missing 5 pieces of the rear wheel dampers. WTF!

I bought one with no dampers in place...at all. Didn't realize it until the first trial run...lol.....

After replacing them, I ended up removing the rear wheel again, rebuilding the rear brake caliper, and then put a new tire on it......this time on the correct silver rim......

Getting back into the swing of things after a short mental health break away from everything - except absolute necessities.

To wit..... this morning I finished removing the tires off these last 4 rims I had in my queue. Two fronts and 2 rears. I used the bead breaker tool I mentioned a while back. The fronts were a PITA to get the tool inserted into but the rears were a piece of cake. I guess because of the angle of the rim edges (?)

Those out of the way I can press on to existing stuff. I still have a Blue RC26 on my lift table and an '84 RC15 under cover on the driveway. Plus other work to do on the bikes at my storage unit.

Feels good to be back in the fray, gents! :)

Oh no doubt, Six. But sometimes life throws you some curve balls you have to deal with before getting back to center. Thanks, my brother.....all good....

Mental days are good stuff. I found on the breaking really old beads, I would flex the tire using the breaker tool and then while holding in the squished position I would spray some WD40 or soap spray around the unbreakable bead. Let it settle for a few minutes and then come back to it. Work 90% of the time 100% of the time. :)

I can just see the sweat and cursing in that picture of tire-less rims. I always found the fronts harder to do. Nice work.
