The CB400 ( CB1) has a pretty straight shot into the intake … just like the FZ750.
Being as both are inline 4’s to me they look very similar…

    Not "hard", but definitely tedious.

I went thru mine last Summer after a fuel leak that turned out to be a fuel line fitting and hose. Decided it was time and wanted to confirm / document the sizes and settings. They looked pretty good with a little expected sediment in the bowls. Everything else was fine. New float bowl orings and a synch.

Also a fresh look with about 25 years more experience, I had some of the clamps on the insulators oriented incorrectly. Wasn't a "problem", but it was an "ooohhhhh", I see moment. Made so much more sense.

Relatively straightforward but the belt cover is surprisingly hard to persuade out of place where it locates at its lower end. When you are in that deep you may want to replace the idler pulley if the bearings are getting tired but mine were great at 100,000km and nearly 30 years of use! And the belt looked as good as new as well, but who knows?

The blokes on the ST-Owners.com website are just as helpful as VFR owners if you get stuck. There's nothing they haven't seen and answered many times over.

Motorcycle related I guess.....just ran across some old pics of when I was doing some part time work helping a friend who along with his wife had a bike event merchandise company. They'd set up a tent during Bike Week, Biketoberfest, and also others including some out of state events (they flew me to Mississippi for one there once).

Mostly I handled sales and we'd work shifts. Had a little stereo inside and some CDs.....I remember The Cult was a fav...ha ha. Some Jack and Coke to help with the vibe. We did pretty good too. They had a lot of stuff!

I had my camera with me and took heaps of photos as there was a lot worthy to document. Some of the girls even let me shoot them trying on see through mesh tops!

Here are a few and that's me in the Skunk cap.......

Knowing this crowd, I'll get shit for this, but since this is random photos... Just for the halibut...
While I do like burning twistys on the VFR, the other side of me is the slacker cruiser dude on the Valk...
Here's my Valkyrie Bling it project, an insane amount of OCD minutia work...Wheels, calipers, forks, triples, rotors, bolt heads, headlight, radiator covers, brake lines, I made my own low profile mirror stalks,....on and on. ...
