Actually I am going back that way to see someone in Walnut Creek. SO I may ride back with you. I will be spending one night there, on the outside, possibly two but I have to get back to the Wack. I have to pack up the fifth heel and the wife and I are off to the prairies for a couple months. We leave June 4 I think.

But I am all packed now for R3. Only thing to pack on the bike is the shaving kit. Heading out Monday afternoon and staying at a hotel right near the border for my 02:00 start time Tuesday morning.

I think that is in the plans but not certain for sure. My going to Vegas sometime during this trip is a certainty. Well. I crossed the border to USA at 0200 this morning. Was trying to make it down to meet up with Long to get to Mexico in the 24 hours but that was not to happen. I am too old for such foolishness. Made it as far as Sacramento bu 9PM ish had had to call it a day. My old creeking biens said "that's it. No further you dumb old bastard." So I had to call Long and regretably call it a night. Even if I could have carried on, I doubt that I could have made mexico by 02:00.

So a fresh start in the morning to meet up with Long. I can only imagine what trouble he will get me into.

Booked into the first hotel I found that appeared reasonable. Had a shower cause I was jsut fuggen stinky. Then went for a walk and low and behold, I am right across the sreet from the governors mansion. And the bastard didn't even offer me, Head of State from the UFRR, a place to stay there. Son fo a bitch!

 

Hahahaha, rest well Randy cause we still have a lot of miles ahead of us.......No need to Apolozy, just take your time and be safe. Just call me when you get close. Bon voyage mone amie
