Why dont we all get our heads out of our arses and concentratre on improving our riding abilities instead if worrying about squeezing a couple of bhp out of our motors ? Or are we so poor as riders we think that more bhp will improve our riding technique, and turn us into some moto gp hero ?

Good for you! Why are you here, if you're not interested in a header buy. Honestly.
    Carpy:
Unless you are interested? or perhaps in the market for picking up a loaners fee from all parties interested in a zorstec header with your bike used as the fitment mule for production?! Why are YOU here?
I find it more than a little amusing that you think I somehow don't know how to ride hard, simply because I'm hotrodding my VFR. Instead of course turning it into a big fat touring bike which it was halfway to being to start with, as you seem to have done. Or waiting on things to cook in the electrical harness. Which I actually didn't need to wait on. holy shit. Do not be suprized then, with what happens next when you catch me at a stoplight. Or a hard right hand bend for that matter.
    All Others!
Yessssss..... Let there be an answer for this bike performing like an asthmatic mule with the perfect engine note and ergos....

Honestly we all know that anyone with over 100 horse power to the wheel is just terrible at riding and if you so much as think of needing more than 100whp you are a squid with massive chicken strips.

I would love a 170 hp V4.................. in my CBR track bike!

My VFR with a AMF cans and power commander is just fine. Now have a smooth throttle and reliable.

I have Ohlins full suspension with sbk valves and 156 rwhp with a nice fat hp/torque curve, Brembo master and its paid for. The only thing I want for her is lighter wheels but they cost a lot. Sorry for the thread jack. Back to headers. I would like a nice full free flowing exhaust on the VFR but not going to spend that much for so little gain. She is just fine.

For how much money you spend in Hp/torque return. I love a full system, less weight, smoother power delivery, some hp/torque gain, good sound coupled with a fuel management system and a good dyno tune. Yeah that is a lot I guess. lol I have spent a lot of money on full systems on a lot of bikes. I just don't think I will do it in the near future on the VFR. She is running very nice right now.
