It got pretty warm here yesterday & in SLO & Atascadero & Templeton. wife & I went to Cambria & bt the time we got to Moonstone it was 72 degrees. Clear.
I'm thinking I might just get up & head for Nepenthe via Fort Hunter-Liggett 2morro morning.

I've tried to do this in the past & always wimped out.

Probably take about 3 hours or more to get there.....bout the same to get back via the PCH.

Check in if you have any interest...maybe try to leave Pismo about 8:30 or so....

    Weather dependent.

    HAHA....what a Loser...
This ride eluded me once again. The weather looked a little foggy / cloudy along the coast & besides I had this other non-whole-day offer.

The group left San Luis Obispo; I caught up in Santa Maria; then it was out Foxen Canyon to Los Olivos then the Motorcycle Museum in Solvang. Others went on to Camarillo to another Museum. I headed back over Harris Grade & up the PCH to Home.

A large group for me ....20 maybe. Good Ride, Good Group. Maybe some new friends.
slide show below should load in a few seconds - maybe hit refresh if it doesn't

    Solvang Motorcycle Museum

    Someday, Fort Hunter Liggett.................

I ride with those guys every once in a while. We'll cross the fort this weekend Bob. Didn't you get to cross it with us last time?

I told the guys from work that are coming that we will probably depart at 10 am from here...

    I just heard.....
Don't know if you watched the slide show above, but on the return from Solvang, the ONLY VFR RIDER got whacked! 1998 VFR w/ a number of hoots & toots added.

appearantly rear-ended (mustang vs. VFR) / frame bent. he is reportedly OK...Unhurt(?)

frame bent = bike totaled, i would think.....dunno.

John Tucker. Anybody know him? Is he / are you on board?

hope he / you R OK.......
