Question: Why when the painted lines in the road cross a cover, they never bother to line them up when they are put back?

 

We will never know.

 

They do that on purpose. Just to piss off us anal retentive OCD types. Basterds!

Nice picture of the Cobra, 427 I assume, I can see the out of focus pipes on the side. Went to buy one in 1967, and the dealer said "they stop making them a month ago".

 

Yep it's a 427 .... we visited the Shelby Heritage Museum just outside Las Vegas - it's excellent and free....lol

We named our daughter Shelby so made it a fun time.

Aren't those very similar to the Mustang Ghia of the late 70's and early 80"s?

 

Its a 68 Shelby Mustang GT350

 

Just because of the current pics, a little droolage (please excuse the pano shot, better than the 20+ photos I have to choose from)

 

I would love to have a new GT 500. Or better yet a Super Cobra.

 

Every once in a while a Shelby Owners club will meet in Seal Beach. Been there a couple of times when they showed up or were already parked on Main Street. Both times I've been with the wife, who always seems unimpressed!
