Rossi should do well again. Yahama seems to do well at this track. JL has 2 or 3 wins there too and I think he is getting close to desperation. MM is going to try to the same as all year long, pole and win. Kid is amazing. And with his patience that he is showing he will be hard to beat.

    **** SPOILER ALERT ****

    **** SPOILER ALERT ****

Finally someone gave a "challenge" to MM, great to see a battle for first again! Oh and Looks like VR is the closest to MM in points now! Great seeing him up front and not mid pack like he was so often on the Duc.

Its a bummer to see the Ducs doing so good now without Hayden...by the way..where was he ? Hope he didnt brake anything with his first lap crash last race.
This was probly the most challenge MM got in 6 races and kept his cool..no crashy like last year .
Sorry thread jack...How many podiums is that for Rossi?

Rossi was amazing in the first 3 laps. Passed in heavy traffic 6 riders and then a good battle with crazy joe and he takes another podium to be 2nd in the championship. Not bad for an old man on a Yamaha.

As much as I root for Marquez/Honda, I was pulling for Rossi this week to finish the job after leading all those laps. He was soooo close to lucking out and doing it when Pedrosa almost took out MM lol.

Could Rossi have whupped Muhammed Ali? or Hulk Hogan or The Rock?

To really get a look at any of the accomplishments of any of those fast guys, the entire spectrum has to be viewed not just what happened a few days ago..

You know what's sad? Nobody has mentioned Dani Pedrosa...damn near took the win too. Once he and MM got passed Rossi, it was pretty much over for Rossi and he even said so in post race interview, but with Pedrosa touching the rear wheel of MM's bike, he was lucky that he didn't take both of them out, but what a save! Had that happened, it would have been a bitter sweet victory for Rossi. The sad thing about Pedrosa is that he's always so close to the championship, but just never gets past the proverbial goal line! He can ride when he wants to though and being in front of the home crowd was probably enough incentive to be more aggressive than he usually is, maybe the surgery helped his confidence some too.
