The red one you speak of is probably mine. I work a block south of 2nd and Broadway.

Hey guys, new VFR owner here. I live east of springdale in Lowell Arkansas. If this ride comes together, I would like to ride along. If we ride in Arkansas, I know some killer roads we can ride on. I have also rode in and around the Tahlequah area. Pretty country there too.

Ahhh...The weather is finally starting to get nice. Anyone going to be out riding around the OKC area today? I'm headed after work to get the bike nice and shiny again after riding Rt66 Saturday in the 42* rain...Nothing like starting the season off with a crappy ride.

Hey all...thought I'd revive this post. I live in Moore and just bought an 05 VFR800. I know it's cold but I'm still riding and thought I'd introduce myself to the locals :)

Welcome Motoman426! I bought an '05 in Edmond a couple of years ago. 20 degree mornings are too cold for me! Does your vtec kick in as hard as a bull like mine? Some people say they hardly feel it, just curious.

yes it does...reminds me of the old 2 stroke days of hitting the powerband or a turbo....and I like it :) Is that yours in your profile pic? Nice bike! Did you polish the wheels?

Yea thats my bike. It was wrecked when i bought it, looked like it had been down on both sides, upside down and on it's tail. It had one of those guardian bells on it, i suggested someone get their money back on that! Took about a year and a half to restore it. Painting it took the longest. The rims were just gray, I polished the outer and painted the inner spokes. The rear rim looks awsome with the SSSA and polished spokes and outer rim. Hard to keep clean though!! I unpluged the electrical connection to the PAIR valve. Made a huge difference! Smoothed out the off idle response and also smoothed out the VTEC so much that I hardly feel it kick in. I think I'm going to try to smooth out the off idle throttle with pc3 mapping and plug PAIR valve back in. I kinda like the VTEC kick!

I love that polished look! I did it to the factory wheels on an OZ Rally I had, it looked awesome.
