The viffer is comfy on long rides, I didnt mind the seat too much ,just get a tank bag you can lean on and condition that throttle hand and you will be all set. I think you will like the bike a lot!

I just hooked the bike up to ta battery tender and ran her for a minute yesterday, gotta put in some fuel stabilizer and take her down the road to top her off with gas and then she is ready for winter. I already miss riding almost daily...

I think I saw you out on the road late Summer on rt.138 near URI.... Didn't realise you were in Narragansett. I just remember seeing the RWB and thinking I hadn't seen another one all season and you can't get two of them together.... Who knows what could happen. I have mine in the garage and I am slowly accepting that I won't be riding much anymore. Tires don't warm up too much when its in the 30s!!!

Well OKC, congrats on the new bike. I hope you enjoy it. The VFR is a great combination of sport and touring that no other bike has. The C14 is great too but it seems like you would have to really be committed to distance to make the most out of it.... Doesn't seem like something I would grab the keys to for a morning blast through the twisties. Too much bike/bags weight!!! Good Luck.
