Official VFR sighting thread

Joey_Dude, you're in or around Atlanta? I just met a guy named Carl with VFr, he spotted mine parked out on the deck at work and left a note. We may all have to get together sometime soon.

 

This morning, white 8th gen, southbound I-5 at Tulalip.

 

Yesterday around12:15 west bound on the 118 at Desoto,,,,,2000 yeller VFR

 

This afternoon saw a RWB 6th gen heading towards hiddenite on sulphur springs rd with his bmw bud. You guys where booking it

 

Last week was on my 8th Gen when I past a 6th Gen in Carson on Fig. Caught it on my GoPro and will upload when I get a chance

 

Spotted a clean, red 5th gen on Hwy 401 headed towards downtown Raleigh.

 

Spotted a Yellow 5 Gen on the 405 Freeway heading South lane splitting in the car pool lane yesterday. Was around 7:30A-7:45A time frame near the 605 / 405 interchange.

 

Very rarely do I spot another VFR. not around here anyway. speaking of.........

 

Spotted 2 7th gens as I was heading up to The Rock Store this afternoon. Sadly I was stuck behind a freaking Prius and in front of a CHiP :doh:so I was practically level the whole trip :disturbed:

 

So sad, hope ya went up Stunt Road on the way out to get your groove on

 

On Craigslist Atlanta there is a 2014 VFR800 with sidebags for $7300.

 

BUMP.

Bike is now $6900.

Atlanta also has a 1998 with 1500 miles for $4200. "Brand New" except for some scratches.

 

Spotted a black 5th Gen on Cornell Rd. near the 173rd/Evergeen Parkway intersection in Hillsboro, OR.

Let the seas part, I witnessed a silver 6th gen heading the other way in my neck of the woods, go figure. I know, no photos though, so it didn't happen.

 

Spotted a clean rc36 with Oklahoma plates at motogp who paid top dollar for the ducati island parking

 

Went to get my 2nd tank of gas in my RWB this afternoon here in Decatur, Alabama. At the pump adjacent to the one I stopped at was a black 06 with bags who had just finished gassing up. Spoke with him for a few minutes and found that he bought his about the same time I bought mine, both from sellers in Tennessee. His paint was what I would call a pearl black, lots of sparkle in the paint. Very nice looking bike.

 

Cool, funny thing here in LA I rarely see a VFR unless I'm riding with a fellow owner. Even when I pop by the Rock Store, I'm usually the only one.

 

I see a few from time to time in Austin, but it has sort of a small town feel to it since people don't stray too far from home for fear of traffic. I follow this guy on instagram who couriers around LA in a vfr, keep your eyes open for him https://www.instagram.com/motorcyclecourier/

OK, at 2:05 p.m. there was a very clean Fifth Gen waiting at the light of the eastbound Los Angeles blvd at Spring Rd in Moorpark. Nice bike!
