Official VFR sighting thread

Saw a red (2005) 6th Gen in Davenport, IA on 10/12 about 5:30 PM. He & passenger were on Kimberly Road turning south on Jersey Ridge Road. He was stopped, I stopped in the go straight lane. Yelled nice Viffer to him, he replied the same. His light turned green, away he & passenger went. Too hungry to chase him down.

 

Another )^ white parked this time on the east side of Hwy 97 at I believe an ATV type shop in Westbank BC near Kelowna. Anyone here?

 

I saw three vfr's up at bear mtn. n.y today. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling!!!

 

Saw a red VFR in Edmond, OK 12 noon today at the intersection of Edmond Rd. (2nd St.) and Kelly. Not sure of the year or gen, late 90s maybe early 2000s? I can't tell the age of anything after the 2nd gen when they're at speed and I'm driving the other way.

 

spotted in Paris,France. rare white color also a silver 5 gen but it got away before i could get a pic

 

That's the 09 and widely available here in Canada and just about everywhere other than the USA I think.

Maybe not common. I should have said readily available to order new I guess. Can't say I have seen a lot of them either. 2009 probably was not a great year for sales with the recession and all.

 

Saw a RWB on HWY 70 headed from Goldsboro towards Smithfield on saturday.

 

I was riding south on Highway 1 in Fredericksburg, VA, (Four Mile Fork) today & spotted a familiar red rear end (5th gen) ahead. I sped up & came alongside & exchanged a wave, then he accelerated & crossed 2 lanes of to turn right onto Spotsylvania Blvd, never to be seen again. First viffer I've seen around F'burg; anyone here?

 

Yesterday on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Mt. Pisgah. I met a silver 6th gen riding with 3 or 4 touring bikes( I was heading east and he was heading west). Then a little later I was heading west back down the mountain and met a red 5th gen who was heading east.

 

I haven't seen any gen in my area. see my vfr800 every morning.

 

Saw a Red 6th Gen on 270 North just about 20 minutes ago

 

Saw a BLACK 6th gen on 405 heading north exit at Westminster

I think this is the 5th time I saw him around.

 

84 VF1000 Rt 169 right by Morse Lumber around 2 o'clock.

C'mon Corkey. You need to go and do some introduction thread or something first. You really expect us to believe you got a VFR just because your info in your profile says so? There are plenty of posers out there.

I see the same old semi beat up (or well worn) red 5th gen on the 405 north bound headed towards the 22fwy. I've seen him at least a dozen times usually passing through in the carpool like clockwork around 518pm each day.

 

a friend invited me to ride with her group yesterday, pulled into the meeting place and saw a 2008 Grey one with hard bags. The guy was very excited to see another VFR. We took photo's of them together at the Tilted Kilt in East Brunswick, NJ.
