Official VFR sighting thread

saw a red(i think...) 5th gen vfr in Gaithersburg, MD. on Darnestown road around 9pm today

 

Red 5th gen doin the track day in either B or I group sunday 6/23/2013. Lookin pretty good out there too. Rolled out at the end of the day in a older Dakota.

 

Wow I've been riding in the Hampton roads area for a few years and have had maybe three or four VFR sightings.

I spotted a yellow 5th gen on Mt. Newton X Road, Central Saanich, BC at 5PM today. Hey... very nice bike choice!

I was at the Auto Show in St. Ignace, MI yesterday and happened upon a 3rd gen VFR downtown:



Ended up meeting the owner later on, "Handsome" Dan from Traverse City (owner of Bodamer Bros. Flooring). He was in town for the night with his friend Joe who has the ST1100 in the pic. We talked for a while, really nice guys, but afterward I felt bad for not bringing my VFR up :laugh:

 

Saw this following me up I-85/95 through NC/VA today:

 

I80, mile marker 305 (just barely into Iowa) red 4th gen about 3PM heading west. I was on my bike, but by the time I realized it was another VFR, you had long passed.

 

@ 1:30 p.m. last Sunday (July 7), I met another red vfr800 going north on VA highway 1 in Alexandria, VA. We waved, but continued on our separate directions.

 

Who was driving the red 3/4th gen this weekend parked right below the Budweiser stand at the AMA replaces on Saturday?

 

HEY! I was there. Are you talking up at the Esses next to those 2 party towers??? There was 2 red 4th Gens floating around up there. There was also a silver and a RWB 6th gen over by the bridge. I was parked in that grassy area right behind those towers both days...

 

Saw a 7th gen on NW 23rd and Kerney in PDX 7-15-13

Thats the first 7th gen I have seen in my area, great to see there getting around.

Saw a gen 6 with Ontario plates at the Best Western in Bridgeport, WV on Monday.

 

I saw an original red (I guess that's red) 7th gen yesterday on 695N, south side of Baltimore. Course, coulda been the 250 as they look alike and I was in traffic so couldn't really oogle.

 

Saw the same 80's 750 a couple of times last Wednesday in Guelph, then saw a nice white 4th or 5th gen at the royal distributing bike night last night in Guelph.

 

I never see any damn VFR's in the Chicago area......guess I am just unlucky. Hoping to see some at the Indy MotoGP next month though.

 

I saw a red white and blue vfr800 in Kalispell, MT on 07-17-2013. It was going south on Highway 93.

 

Saw a RWB, 6 gen I think, riding with two Beemers all geared up on RT 30 near Long Lake, NY on Monday the 15th.

 

Saw a red 3rd gen, I think, going north on hwy 2 between Merrickville and Kempville about 5PM today?

 

I was at the Muskegon Bike Show yesterday in Muskegon Michigan and seen an older red one from the distance parked down a side street. Out of probably 1200 bikes that's the only other VFR I seen.
