Official VFR sighting thread

Was down at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground south of Maggie Valley NC this past week. Out on one of our rides saw a group of VFR's on Rt276 south of Brevard. Anybody from here?

 

There was a craiglist ad I shared with you guys a month or so ago..It was a 86 vf500 for $1400. Well I saw someone in my area riding it the other day - looked killer! Also, yesterday I saw what appeared to be a 6th generation, red - with red saddle luggage, parked with his friend over by the saddle road junction. All Hawaii of course, just wondering if these guys are part of this forum!

 

The annual VFRD TMac event was last weekend so there were about 70 VFR owners all staying in Franklin and riding the area including me.

RWB w/ saddle bags spotted on Mopac & Slaughter this morning heading into downtown Austin, TX. Have seen it before in a parking lot in Southpark Meadows at the movie theater.

 

5/25 red 6tg gen...you were coming from the east, got onto I74 east bound in Bettendorf, Iowa. I had my coffee, otherwise I would of been riding myself. Thinking it was the ne I've seen around before, maybe also for sale on CL?

 

Sunday, May 27 11:30 am I saw a silver 6th gen parked outside Northpoint Church in Alpharetta GA.

 

Saw 2 in the last 3 days....

Saturday night, about 10:30-11:15pm. 6th gen RWB paint scheme. Ohio State University campus. Lane and High st, riding past the BW3 I was watching the UFC fight at.

Today somewhere in the 11:30 to 12:30 timeframe. 6th gen black paint. South Hamilton rd on the east side of Columbus, riding north past Eastland mall.

 

White 4th gen and a red 5th gen today @ Summit Point Shenny circuit w/ Motorcycle Excitement. Unfortunately I was caging today as it's gotten too hot for my girl and traffic conditions damn thermostats..................

 

Red 4th. Gen. Friday night May 18th. 11pm. (Sorry, posted late) North bound Lake Shore Drive at Hollywood. Chicago - weekend of NATO Summit. I was on 2007 RWB.

 

Spotted! VFR1200F on the Fox morning show. They had video of the VFR1200F leading the Queen's Diamond Jubilee motorcade. These images aren't from the Jubiliee. They are stock images I found for London Police VFR1200F.

I saw a red 4th gen on arnold mill road in between woodstock and crabapple ga last saturday. I waved...they just stared at me....they must have known I was new.

 

You'd think they would use Triumphs! What a lost opportunity to support the home team effort!

 

Spotted 2 last Sunday (3 Jun)... White 6th gen at Starbucks on Alamo in Vacaville. Then a red 6th gen on the side of the road along Hwy 16 by Cache Creek.

 

Last Sunday at Road America. 3 2007 RWB's, 1 Red 4th Gen., 2 80's RWB's parked in big lot by turn 5. 1 Gray 2009 parked with 2007 RWB. I probably missed more!

 

Red 5th gen with black bags on 400 heading south. There seems to be a lot of vfrs in the Cumming area.

 

RWB Miniceptor (VF500) on Webb Bridge Road in Alpharetta this afternoon. I think I've seen you a couple times around Alpharetta in the past few months. Anyone here?

yeah, you missed my red 5th gen and there was another red 5th gen that did spectator touring

 

I80 mile market 263 1st gen RWB traveling east. I was headed west in my 4Runner pulling a big orange trailer. About 10:30 AM

 

I saw 4 VFR's today, 3 2nd Gen VFR-750's, all RWB & a red 7th Gen.

1) 2nd Gen at the Van Sant Airport & PA RT 32 in Point Pleasant 1400 & 1415, same guy.
2) 2nd Gen on NJ RT 29 gassing up at the Sunoco (We were across the street @ the Exxon), 1535.
3) 7th Gen on NJ RT 29 South. We were the maniacs that blew by you in a group of 4, yellow 00 5th Gen, black 11 Ducati Diavel, blue & white 97 GSXR-1100 & a blue & silver 06 HD VROD.
3) 2nd Gen on US RT 206 north in Bordentown, 1630 we were @ the WAWA.

Saw a few at Deals Gap this past week so we were well represented. First time down there on my 98 and was really impressed with overall performance. We had a fast group including a Ducati Streetfighter, A Gixxer 1000 an Aprilla Motard and the VfR held its own very well.
