so, after I did a stupid in my driveway (kick stand folded, busted the upper & windscreen) I knew it was time to replace some plastic. With seized bolts, a Dremel, and a whole lot of cutting, I finally got everything off. I found bikebandit.com for a whole lot of cheap OEM parts, along with a toolbar that helps even more, I got the upper and a few bolts shipped to my door for $300.

Just passing along what I've found.
