I don't know what to do about the media bias. It is there for sure. If you like The Obama or not, you'll have to admit that the media (for the most part) has given him and Joe Biden a pass. They didn't say how much the DNC paid for clothing. But, they sure made a big deal out of Sarah Palen's clothing allowance. Just one example.

As for the political threads i think whoever starts another one should loose their VFR World access for a month! Then they should have to ship their bike to me for a full "inspection" at which time i might remove certain parts for "testing". BAN all political threads and make VFR World a happy place again! :treehugger::tongue:eace:

Nice to talk about it, even if a disagree with you and argue with you in a thread.

Give me the most Obama fanatic and i would still be happy to ride with him...same for a mccain fanataic.
Or closer to home, some one who voted liberal, or even NDP.

Would i suddenly not laugh at his post on the motivation thread, would i suddenly ignore his advice, would i suddenly not say "nice bike".
Or would we both have an awsome ride and share our experiances the same as before...

Political threads are fine as long as it stays there.

 

It would be great if most people could look at it that way Molsan; but i hate to say it but a lot won't or can't. Please say one thing and do another. just because they say they hate or dislike something so they can belong to the "herd" doesn't mean in the privacy of their own home (or in this case the voting booth) they will do something else.

I think banning the political stuff keeps people out of trouble and keeps this site focused on what REALLY matters. :vtr2:

 

Where's the fun in that ? As long as a non motorcycle thread is in " anything goes " you can read or ignore it at your whim... from a personal level this is a great area to find out how different folks think about all sorts of varied subjects but also share a common connection.

I am going to throw my name on the ballot. If I am elected I will promise to represent everyone on this forum. We want lower taxes or a least to stay where they are, it's done. We want people to be responsible for their own debts and desicions, so be it. I'll just start polls on the forum for each of my major decisions once in the White House. Oh yeah, I will also have a VFR rally at the White House at least once a year (out of my own yearly salary of course) which will be sponsored by Hooters. Good times. Great people. Plus, I will personally go find Osama bin Laden and shove a grenade up his arse! Anyone in? I'd still need a running mate.
