Here is my update. I never had the bike dynoed with the nitro x fuel commander so I don't have any proof either way. I give it a rating as a good cheap alternative to adjust your fuel. When I started riding the VFR more than the CBR I still noticed some low speed stumbling so after much debate I finally made the plunge and bought a PCIII and installed the map for high mount and my pipe. It did finally make the low speed issues disappear and the entire throttle range appears smoother. The PCIII makes the bike easier to ride at very slow speeds such as in a parking lot or taking off from a stop sign. If I had it to do over again, the PCIII would have been my first mod. Both of these mods take a bit of effort so if you can do one you can do the other. If anyone is still interested in the nitro x fuel commander I still have mine in the drawer, $20.00 shipped to the US.

For those who wonder what this gizmo is doing and why is so cheap here-s the answer: Nitro device is a sort resistors bridge with some switches which tricks the ECU in thinking that the IAT (intake air temperature) is different. So although in commercial it says that is a chip (typical Greek's lie) it's not. Basically, the colder the air the more fuel will be used by ECU and that is done by changing the IAT's impedance just like Dynojet is doing with the Lambda sensor eliminators on exhaust.
Effective? Yes and no. I got better performance but the mileage suffered as consequence because the device is not sensitive to either RPM and/or gear.
Comparison with Power Commander: like I said Nitro is only changing the IAT sensor status and as a result the fuel is added in different increments depending on the switches position while Power Commander gives a (much, much) greater range of adjustment by changing the period of time when fuel injector are open (also the firing timings can be adjusted - but this is only for advanced users/tuners) depending on RPM, gear, (with the aid of an Autotune) AFR, etc.
Worth it? For fast and cheap (and also possibly a bit unhealthy for the engine) probably yes. But if you love your bike and want to do a proper job cough up some more dough and get a PCV with Autotune (as I did).
    Cheers!
