my bike didn't have any usable fairing on it when i got it. so these are a lot better. as for thickness, i would say the they are a little thinner. the paint was pretty good and glossy.

Also, just like airplanes, everything on a motorcycle is at least 3-4 times as expensive as it would be if it was meant for a car...

half of my bike done now. no real problems putting anything on other not knowing exactly how it attaches.

So other than being a bunch more money does anyone know what the difference is between these and the sets on Ebay ?

I have a guy local to me that brings these in, he only brings in what his customers order though so seeing a set before ordering is tough. Apparently he has ordered a 99 919r set for a customer and has promised me pics.

I am thinking of ordering a set from these guys soon too. I have a painter that can do my tank, seat cowl, and wheels.

FYI Nice Cycle plastics are made in Hong Kong, (probably comes from the same factory as the $399 ebay ones), they are not made in Japan by no means.

I was curious about the plastics sold on feabay from Hong Kong. It would be about $550 shipped from them. I am a little skeptical about ordering something for that much money from overseas. You know anyone that has ordered from those merchants before? If it's the same stuff I would wait the extra shipping time and save some money to boot.

I got a spare set for my Suzuki GSX-R750 with a different color scheme, it fits like ass, and the paint...well lets say my Krylon could of done better. Not to mention the plastic is thicker however its about as durable as a Pringles potato chip. The 3rd day out in the canyons the freaking plastics melted and caught fire under my bike. Yea i wont buy that shit again that's for sure. $550 down the drain. I bought mine from Auctmarts. Just remember you get what you pay for, next time around OEM for me, no more of that shit.

I just recently got around to installing a bunch of stuff I had bought for my bike, some of it I had bought over 2 years ago. And I spent a total of well over $700, well over. Some of us just have a lot going on in our lives I guess...

Look at my signature to get some idea of what I just installed, there was more, but the signature is limited to 500 characters...

Wow...thats a lot of mods...can you see your bike under there? How many miles have you put on prior to the mods? Did you do them all at once?

You know on there site they claim that they sell to distributors all over the U.S. but they never list a single one. They show comparison pictures of poorly made connections of threaded inserts glued to the plastics and then the picture shows perfect (OEM like) brass connections and they have the never to say that there product is as good or better than OEM! When I got there product that Sh!t went right back to UPS and I took the $125 hit for the shipping and it was well worth it. I dont know if it was just my 98 VFR that sucks but they did. To make matters worse was the color was no where near the factory color, it was almost orange and the upper cowl and rear tail had no metal female threads for the screws. What the hell was I supposed to do....drill them out and glue them in myself. I hope one day an American company will make these to at least 80% of the quality of OEM. Ok rant over.

Can see the bike just fine,
the heated grips, except for the controller, look like normal grips
the FPR is way down in the V of the engine and can't be seen at all
the Galfer brake lines only replaced the stock ones, and actually have a smaller outside diameter, so you can actually see more of the bike
The wave rotors actually allow you to see more of the wheel
the Ohlins shock is visable of course, but doesn't really cover any part of the bike
the bits of carbon fiber cover or replace existing parts, so that isn't a problem
    should I go on?
